Are you towing legally? Did you know that if you passed your driving test on or after 01/01/1997 you can only drive a car or van up to 3500kg MAM to tow a trailer up to 750kg MAM (or tow a trailer exceeding 750kg if the combined MAM of the trailer and towing vehicle doesn't exceed 3500kg)? If you want to tow anything heavier, you will need to pass the Cat B+E test, this includes towing caravans and horseboxes.

If you are unsure what you can legally tow, we are more than happy to check for you. Alternatively you can check your entitlements on www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence - remember towing loads that exceeds what you are entitled to is a criminal offence.
